Expert opinions for occupational illnesses
Our practice cooperates with the employers’ liability insurance associations. This means that we examine patients to determine whether the causes of their complaints lie in their profession. This applies, for example, to people who have been exposed to allergens, asbestos or quartz dusts or respiratory irritants at work. We then draw up an expert opinion, if requested by the employers’ liability insurance association.
Training for patients
Sometimes patients need particularly detailed support and advice. We therefore offer patient training courses. For example, we provide information about asthma and chronic bronchitis. We know from experience: Well-trained patients are better able to deal with chronic illnesses. For example, they avoid the triggers of symptoms and recognize earlier whether their condition is worsening. In this way, they are able to take a more active role in shaping their own lives again.
