The gas is contained in certain quantities in your exhaled air. It is particularly advisable for people who are exposed to an increased risk of exacerbations. These include pregnant women, patients with impaired lung function, certain changes in the laboratory, patients with symptoms despite therapy and patients who have already experienced an exacerbation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-right:0;margin-left:0;font-size:0.9em\">Patients who have to regularly inhale corticosteroids (\u201casthma spray\u201d) also benefit from FeNO measurements. Pregnant women, for example, should reduce the dose &#8211; as far as possible, but no further than necessary. This requires medical sensitivity and precise data.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-container-core-group-is-layout-9790f0ff wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How the test works<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"margin-right:0;margin-left:0;font-size:0.9em\">An FeNO measurement only takes a few minutes and doesn&#8217;t hurt: you take a deep breath and blow slowly into a special device. Just a few moments later, we have the measurement results.
